About Us!
Our love for animals has been a long standing reality and as such in 2012 we decided we would get a pet goat. Of course goats are social animals and do best with company so we added another. After that, it was like candy; you can never have enough. In 2013 we decided that it would be nice to start researching goat associations and venturing into registered stock. At this time our family is a member of the American Goat Society and the American Dairy Goat Association. We hope to become a performance herd in the future by participating in Milk Testing and Linear Appraisals. We will also start showing in 2022 as well.
In 2021 we decided to add to our farm and now have several registered Kunekune Pigs. These pigs have a special place in our hearts and are a great homestead pig as well. We are members of the International Kunekune Hog Registry and will be offering piglets registered with IKHR.
Each of our animals is treated like a part of the family and as such when you get an animal from us it is always well socialized and handled daily. All of our animals are healthy and are raised in the most natural way possible with out any hormones. We take pride in producing quality not quantity and as such our waiting list tends to fill up quite quickly.
We started out making soap from our goats milk and wanted it to be as nourishing and as natural as possible. We don’t use any artificial fragrances or dyes in any of our products and instead use 100% pure essential oils or all natural fragrance oils. We have since expanded and now carry soaps, lotions, salt scrubs, face masks, milk bath teas, and bath salts.
When we started on this adventure, I had a lot of questions and found out rather quickly that the majority of breeders that I spoke with were and still are more than happy to share their knowledge and experiences We have made new friends and could not be happier with the warm welcome into this community and as a friend and fellow breeder has told me for several years..."All I ask is that you pay it forward." We are more than happy to help with any questions you may have and love to talk goats with anyone who is willing!
Our website is a work in progress and we hope to add some links to websites we have found valuable as well as a farm blog. Please check back often for more to come. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Happy homesteading!!!!
